DRAX Fitness UK opens new 10,000 sq ft UK headquarters and logistics centre in Plymouth

New facility strengthens DRAX’s UK infrastructure and supports continued growth across the fitness market

Wednesday 12th August 2026 - DRAX Fitness UK has officially opened a new 10,000 sq ft headquarters and logistics centre in Plympton, Devon, marking a significant investment in the brand’s continued growth in the UK fitness market.

Located at Bluewater Industrial Estate, Plympton, the new facility brings together DRAX’s UK head office team, logistics and warehousing operations, a dedicated parts centre, regional showroom and customer centre, as well as a UK training centre for DRAXFit.

The facility will also showcase HIRAX, powered by DRAXfit’s the most advanced AI fitness platform in the world. DRAXfit integrates exercise guidance, user data and facility usage to create a more connected and personalised fitness experience, with the new centre providing customers and industry partners with an opportunity to experience the technology and wider DRAX offering first-hand.

The new headquarters has been six months in the planning and has been funded entirely through the UK business. With capacity to potentially triple its current footprint across warehousing, office and showroom space, the facility has been designed to support DRAX’s long-term UK growth strategy.

DRAX has continued to expand its presence across the UK, working with a growing portfolio of fitness operators including Jetts UK and Total Fitness, alongside independent gyms, leisure operators, and corporate facilities.

The investment also strengthens DRAX’s ability to support customers through the complete lifecycle of a project - from equipment selection and showroom visits through to logistics, installation, parts and ongoing support.

Steve Perrins, CEO of DRAX Fitness UK, said:
“This is a really important milestone for DRAX Fitness UK. We have always operated as a lean and highly focused team, but our growth over the past few years has created an opportunity to invest properly in the infrastructure we need to support the next stage of the business.

“The new centre gives us the space to bring our people, products, technology, logistics and customer support together under one roof. It also gives customers the opportunity to experience the best equipment and advanced technology from South Korea's leading fitness brand first-hand.”

The facility also reflects DRAX’s commitment to more sustainable operations. The majority of the centre’s energy requirements will be supplied through solar panels, whilst the site also includes EV charging points and supports the use of electric company vehicles and plant.

The opening comes as DRAX prepares to expand its UK team, with new sales, marketing and operational roles planned in Plymouth, alongside regional positions to support the company’s continued growth.
